Come Join Us for the Summer Lunch Program at GT Norman Elementary School
Days: Starting June 17 on Monday thru Friday      Time: 11:00 am  - 12:30 pm
Cost: 18 Years of Age and Under- Free - - Adults: $3.50
Program will be closed July 4^th & 5^th   Last day of service will be August 23rd

Tuesday, August 27, 2013 is Open House time at G.T. Norman Elementary

 Tuesday, August 27^th: Teacher Work Hours 11:00-3:00 & 4:00-6:00

  1st Sessions start at 11:00 a.m.

Grades K-2  11:00-11:20 Gym

 All Teachers are introduced and students are released with Teachers to go back to classroom. Parents stay in gym for 20 minute presentation.

        11:30-12:30 Classroom "Open House"- parents will pick up their children and visit the classroom

 Grades 3-5    11:30-11:50 Gym

 Teachers are introduced and students are released with Teachers to go back to classroom. Parents stay in gym for 20 minute presentation.

           12:00-1:00 Classroom "Open House"-parents will pick up their children and visit the classroom

 2nd Sessions start at 4:00 p.m.

Grades K-2  4:00-4:20   Gym

        4:30-5:30   Classroom "Open House"- parents will pick up their children and visit the classroom

         5:00-6:00  Classroom "Open House"-parents will pick up their children and visit the classroom

•  NO LEFT TURN: For traffic flow and for the safety of our students at G.T. Norman Elementary, there is NO LEFT TURN out of the parking lot at the elementary.  This will be enforced by police.  Turn Right when leaving G.T. Norman Elementary.

Thursday, May 23 was Family Community Night at Albright Campground. There was lots of activities, games and a cookout. Prizes included bikes, Game baskets, and some great adult prizes too.  click here for details

Kindergarten Round-up at G.T. Norman Elementary

We are accepting early enrollment at the G.T. Norman Elementary office for 2013-2014 Kindergarteners. 
To be eligible for Kindergarten for the 2013-2014 school year, children must be 5 years old on or before November 1, 2013. To pre-register a child in Kindergarten, parents must bring: a certified (original) copy of the child’s birth certificate and an updated immunization record. A social security card is optional.

BUILDING HEALTHY COMMUNITIES

•  G.T. Norman Elementary hosts FREE after school Parent Workshops throughout the school year.  All of our workshops have been completed for the 2012-2013 school year.  We will be planning more for next year!
